GRP's 21,600 Sq. Ft. environmentally controlled fabrication shop is equipped with the latest in welding technology. Our 13 welding bays are fully equipped with machines, a 1 1/2 ton davit hoist, fit-up tables, and bulk gas connections.

Our overhead crane, mobile crane, and fork trucks, are all operated by trained fabrication shop personnel. The shop has the capability of handling pipe up to 60 feet in length and 108 inches in diameter. When fully staffed we employ up to thirty skilled craftsmen.

Beside the standard welding machines, our bulk gas mixing system supplies the necessary gases to two automatic machines, four dual feed wire machines, and four single feed wire machines. In addition, we have 2 large and 3 smaller weld positioners.

Our Pantagraph is equipped for both flame and plasma cutting.

Welding processes include SMAW, GTAW, GTAW / Orbital, GMAW, FCAW both semi auto and automatic. We have 94 current welding procedures and continue to develop more as needed.

We specialize in high tech alloy welding. We have a 6' x 8' x 35' PWHT furnace and other sub contractor PWHT equipment, on site, ready for emergency use.

Our "R" Stamp certification enables us to do repairs and alterations on smaller vessels in the shop.
