In 1952, Tom DeClue, Sr. had a dream to start his own business. Years of hard work and experience prepared him for this milestone, and soon General Refrigeration was born. A business based on integrity, hard work, and quality workmanship. Tom Sr. wasted no time in gaining a reputation in the community for professional work, done at a fair price in a timely manner. By 1960 the business had expanded from General Refrigeration to General Refrigeration and Plumbing, GRP.

GRP Mechanical Inc. has served the Metro East area for over 50 years. As the largest mechanical contractor and pipe fabricator in the Metro East, our client base has expanded to include numerous clients, companies, hospitals, institutions, industrial projects, modular units, utility power plants and compressed air manufacturing facilities.
